The photographs weren’t taken for the purpose of determining somatotype and that fact may affect the accuracy of the assessments. The choice of subjects was made based on a combination of popularity and the possibility of making a reasonable determination of somatotype using available photographs. In some cases the individual may not be generally popular but the quality of the photographs made it possible to be very accurate.
